I've got a little behind here. I meant to put a last entry in for August but these past few weeks have been fairly busy. To cut
a long story short, I've had to take on the role as carer to one who has injured their back and being without a car has made getting the weekly food shopping somewhat difficult too as I'm not the one who drives. (automatic cars are very uncommon here in Britain and I won't drive a manual!) I ended up doing all my food shopping online at the Tesco site. (Tesco is the biggest supermarket here in England). I was really impressed with their easy shopping guide and everything we needed was delivered to us yesterday. It's a comfort knowing that when we are unable to get out for whatever reasons I can simply order the weekly shop online and it's delivered in less than 24 hours. I'd be lost without the internet!
I also recently received the organic products I spoke of in my July journal. It took me a while to order as the site has such a
big range. I chose mostly from the Aubrey and Miessence range and they're fantastic! I bought bath oil, shampoo, moisturiser, soap and a few other items. These products are 100% natural and mostly organic and I highly recommend them. They're suitable for vegetarians/vegans and not tested on animals. |

I haven't touched the new batch of illustrations I spoke of last time, but I'm hoping the creative urge will return soon so I
can get them finished. I also found some more nice long-haired guys on the Deviant Art site… |

On a sad note I saw on the news yesterday that Australian wildlife presenter Steve Irwin has died. He did a lot for people's
understanding of animal welfare and wildlife conservation. I loved the way he showed his passion for all living creatures. His tv program attracted an audience of 200 million worldwide! He was very popular and he'll be very sadly missed. |

5 September - Home shopping

I was doodling around on this page - http://www.fromthestars.com/page3.html - reading some articles and I came
across this. |
|
14 September - "A child dies of hunger every 5 seconds."
|
|
Please visit this site and simply click on the button "Help a child" at the bottom of their page. When you click on the
sponsors page, they will donate to Hungry Children.
There are times when I have watched the plight of men, women and children starving in Africa, and other places in this
world, and said "How would it feel to hold your dying child in your arms and be helpless to do anything about it?" What unimaginable suffering they endure.
~~~
It's been quite an active week in the news focusing on the climate changes of the planet. If man does not find a way, or
the will power, to start undoing all the harm we've done to Earth, then the Earth will surely continue to reek its havoc upon us. I've noticed the storms here in England are becoming a little worse and today a house very near to us got hit by lightning! I heard it burned the place out and melted the windows! |
|
Along with global change, I sometimes feel at any moment my life will change. I feel like everything I've so far endured
and accomplished over the years will come to fruition, that all the ups and downs of my life will be explained and everything will make perfect sense. I get this feeling that I've finished all I set out to do (as if my 'soul's purpose' is complete) and can do no more and now I'm waiting for something, or someone. I've no plans for changing my life because in a way I feel I am not meant to change it. Not now anyway. Presently I do not feel melancholy over this. I'm just going with the flow where ever it takes me.
The months of July and August were very quiet months in a spiritual sense too. But since the beginning of September I
felt my spirit companion Yehren in a much closer way :) Although things went suddenly quiet again a few days ago. I wish I knew what was going on in the world of spirit! I find it curious that the few others I know who also have spirit companions (mentioned on their websites… I no longer get personally involved) have varied faiths. Anything from pagan to christian, and too extreme for my liking. I've learnt the blessing of keeping one's life simple.
Artistically it's been a few quiet months too but I did manage to put the finishing touches on one illustration and began
another new sketch titled 'The Wizard'. I'll feature it here. It's incomplete at the moment, ie: no background, no details on his boots, etc. |
I have on my links page a banner for 'Lady Tempest's Realm of Yaoi', but
for some time I've not been able to access this site and I think it's gone. That's a shame cos there was a lot of nice art work to be find there. Some of her long haired guys were really lovely. I guess I will have to remove the link. Here are a couple of thumbs I found left over in Google's cache from the site. |
18 September - Where is Lady Tempest?
I mentioned climate changes in my above entry and the very next day I saw on the news that a tornado had hit the north
of the county close to Leeds! We rarely get tornadoes in this country. It's like they say, it's only gonna get worse.
Soon after I logged in that last entry, remarking on the quiet from my spirit companion, I suddenly received some
inspired words that very night! Hey, Yehren reads my journal! :D . He knows all my thoughts of course. :) I feel so blessed to have the companionship and love of this beautiful spirit being. I used to entertain fantasies that if Yehren was ever in the physical, ie: to be found on Earth, he would live in Transylvania, in the remote wilderness. There in Romania, particularly it's Carpathian Mountains, are some of the last great wilderness areas of Europe. Wolves and bears still roam the forests and much of the place is still in pristine condition.
Oh yeah, one other thing I was going to mention. On Friday I had an appointment in town and when I got to the office the
guy at the reception looked exactly like the actor Johnny Depp! A much younger version though. I thought it was quite amusing. :) Friday was a bit of a gruelling day and afterward I went into Marks & Spencer, with the intention of buying just one drink, and ended up buying chocolate cake, cookies and crisps... comfort food I guess. :] |
Today I turned 39 years old. In some ways I relish the passing of time, for every day brings me closer to the fulfilment of
my dreams and the complete union with my twin soul. :) Not many would look forward to their 40's, but I look upon it with a sense of anticipation of new and more wonderful things to come. My earth life isn't much and never expect it to amount to much, but in the spiritual way I hope for some great advancements.
The other day I was looking around the net for birthdate info, like birth charts etc, and decided to look deeper into personal
things. I've mentioned the human aura before and yesterday I did an aura test. The test is to help you found out your aura colour. Though this may be helpful in discovering what general colour you belong to, I don't think the test is entirely accurate. You can fill in the aura test here...... |
25 September - Birthday
|
My results were Crystal - 9, Indigo - 7, Lavender - 6. They were the top 3. I scored very low in the yellow/orange/red
range. I thought it a little odd that I may have a crystal aura. The description on the other page did not resonate that well with me. I researched this a little further and on another site I found these words relating to people with crystal auras. "A crystal aura around a person is clear but will have other colors intermingled with it. This is the 'chameleon' aura. People with this aura will take on the attitudes and ways of those around them. The aura of others becomes their own aura. It is important for these crystal people to only surround themselves with the best influences possible, for obvious reasons. A person with a crystal aura must learn how to separate themselves from everybody else". Now that really struck me, because this is true to a great degree. I have found that when I've associated with others and the company is not to my liking, I feel like I've picked up something contagious, like something dirty... a bad vibe. It may take me a while to 'readjust' and feel like myself again. So... I learned something new about myself... perhaps. :)
Just for a bit of fun I also compiled a small favourites list.
An absolutely gorgeous piece from the Theed site. Just click on
the pic to view full size. But be warned... If you take a look around the Theed gallery you will come across some very explicit gay art. Personally I don't go for many of the pictures but occasionally I'll find some real gems like this one. The figure on the right is a real beauty! |
