A couple of days ago I was looking around on Google Maps and discovered the satellite images for where I live now and
where I lived in Australia. Sure is a striking contrast!
Australia
England
If you go to the Journal Index you will notice that I have deleted the 2005 journal. I didn't think there was much point in
leaving last year's entries here, but I saved the illustrations and other pics I featured in my 2005 journal and put them in
the new 'archive' page.

I finally got round to completing some of those illustrations too! I did 4 in the new batch and had a go at painting one
yesterday . I'm not really satisfied with the way it was progressing so I've decided to start the picture again. Of these
new ones, I hope to have 3 paintings done soon, one of Yehren, one for my Fairies page and one for the StormMaster.
Other than doodling around, I've just been doing my usual stuff and listening to lots of music. Not long ago I discovered
the great music of Leaves Eyes, another one of Napalm Records' superb bands.

I also fixed up a few small things on my Links page. I had to delete "Lady Tempest's Realm of Yaoi" as I could no longer
find it and assumed the site had gone. I replaced it with two new links for the Artist 'Heise'. I emailed her about those
beautiful boy dolls but I did not receive a reply :( I would love one of those!
9 October - Some journal changes
15 October - More gorgeous boys :)

In my August journal I featured a picture of a boy doll and recently I found a site which
sells them. I didn't think they would be too expensive as a fully completed doll
(similar like the one I pictured belonging to Heise) was going for $68. But was I in for
a shock! This beautiful boy doll pictured here is selling for $430!! And that doesn't
include the head! That's the price just for a naked body… no clothes, no wig, no
accessories. I guess there must be other places that sell them at more affordable
prices. This site linked here has lots of dolls, both male and female, and the one I've
shown here I think is the nicest looking boy doll. *stares at him* 8). I couldn't get a
direct link to that page though.

I've also been looking around the Deviant Art site again. I seem to be spending more and more time there. I came
across another artist whose pictures I really liked. A couple of her characters are really gorgeous. The link is
shown below. One thing with Deviant Art is that you can't view the more mature content pics unless you're a
member and as I liked this art so much I finally decided to become a member of this massive art community. Now
that I have a web space there I think I might use it and promote some of my paintings there. But that will probably
take some time to set up.

I restarted my fairy painting but still I am not completely satisfied. I'm thinking I could do with some fresh ideas and
have some new sketch plans for a Goth fairy… tight black clothes, platform boots, you know that sort of thing. :)

29 October - Catching up
It's been a quiet month for journal entries. I've had a lot on my mind and wasn't really in the mood for updating here
so I've got a little catching up to do.

I completed a new painting about a week ago, "Fairy Twinkle", which will hopefully be uploaded with a new update in
November. Once again I am left dissatisfied with certain aspects of the painting. Like I've said before, I often prefer
the illustrated version, especially when it comes to the hair. It's always much more detailed in illustration. I've also
been doing some new sketches, one for the Goth Fairy mentioned above, and finishing off a few others. I am
hoping November will be a more productive month in that I complete a new update for my website and maybe even
progress with my Deviant Art page which I haven't as yet touched.

Speaking of which, I added some more of my favourite Deviant Artists to my links page. If you regularly read my
journal, you may be familiar with the links already. I also added a short text about the two photo galleries I feature
because over time I have become disinterested in them. I used to like looking at the photos of attractive long haired
men, but my interest now is primarily in fantasy art. I guess it's because reality has such limitation, whereas with
fantasy the most beautiful males can be created.

When I was in town last week I received a very nice compliment from someone. Actually I received a few :) As I
walked into Primark (clothes shop) I noticed an attractive youth, about 17, with long brown hair and surprisingly he
looked at me and smiled and told me he liked my top (a purple tye-dye shirt). His comment really tickled me! Later
on I got talking to an elderly lady and we got onto the subject of age. She looked good for 79 and she in turn was
surprised that I was 39. She chuckled and said "more like 29"! :D I must have been looking vibrant that day! Lol.
Yeah, I felt good, especially receiving such nice comments. Maybe it's thanks those new organic products I've been
using. :)
