I found the illustration for this in an old art folder and realising it would make a good painting, I went straight to work on it, making a few changes to the original. I enjoyed doing this painting. He mystifies me. :)

A beautiful young mage performing his magic. This one looks very much like my Yehren :) I chose soft, light tones for this picture as I wanted to highlight the long black hair. Though the scan didn't do justice to this painting - the stars are undefined and the colours not as bold.
