I wanted to create a sweet and romantic scene for this painting. It also gave me
opportunity to practice with light breaking through the forest.

For this painting I wanted to capture a scene of quiet reflection. I aimed to suggest a fairy boy creating
roses in a bleak forest, and the fairy himself is just like a tender rose blossoming in the wilderness.

This painting was done for an email friend. They are two characters from a fantasy story he wrote
for me. I spent a long time on this painting, paying more attention to detail than I usually do. It was
quite a challenge and I am very happy with the way it turned out.

Thanks for the inspiration Ken!

Butterflies are pretty, and so are long-haired boys. :)

This painting I started a long time ago but it remained incomplete. After some fresh ideas I am
happy now with the way it turned out.

Once I had a butterfly in my keep.
